call player 1 the setter-upper. call player 2 the sitter. the setter-upper's objective is to arrange the chair in a (free-standing) way that will make it difficult to sit on, by virtue of orienting it in a way that it was not designed for. the sitter then must reinterpret the shapes of the chair and find affordances for sitting where they were not designed.

the setting-up and sitting phases alternate until the sitter loses.
