but if you're making that choice to ride as your primary means of transport because it seems like the best option for your life right now, as opposed to -- i dunno, just to be an asshole? why else would you do it? -- then shouldn't that choice be treated with at least equal consideration as the choice to drive a car?
and on the gender side of things, zinnia jones says that being female (in outward presentation, hormones) is on some level a choice, albeit the best choice for her. what would it mean for her to "take ownership" of that decision?
